Foster Care

For more than 30 years, we have had the privilege of partnering with families in the community to care for children in crisis. Foster parenting is an incredibly challenging, yet rewarding experience that saves children’s lives.

Our Emergency Foster Care program is designed for individuals and families that have a desire to open their home for Foster Caretemporary, emergency intervention for children in crisis. We turn children away every day because we don’t have immediate space available in one of our agency homes.  Families that participate in this program will provide safety and stability for a child in need for a short period of time until space becomes available in another agency home.

Our Foster Care/Adoption program provides a high level of family care for our vulnerable children.  Families participating in this program will provide a stable and loving home where children can build social and developmental skills. The level of care provided by our Foster Care/Adoptive homes has a profound impact on the overall development of the child in care. This program is designed to provide care for children until family reunification or another permanent placement is established.

If you are interested in learning more about the Foster Care program at Casa de Esperanza or attending our next Foster Care/Adoption orientation, please contact Chrystal Hamilton-Dorelien.
