AMAZON WISHLIST

Feed, clothe, and care for children in our community.

Imagine all the food, diapers, and other household items your family uses in a day. Now imagine that multiplied by dozens of children and foster parents!

Basic needs donations and food drives are the best practical ways to support our foster children and community foster parents.

Our in-house food pantry not only supports the children and caregivers in the Residential Neighborhood; it also serves as a resource for Aftercare families who need additional food. Hosting a food drive is a great way to contribute to our mission and nourish the children and families who depend on us.

Hosting a basic needs drive is a great way to contribute to our mission and nourish the children and families who depend on us.

Frequently Asked Questions

What non-food items are needed most?

Call our Volunteer Manager at volunteer@casahope.org or call 713.529.0639 to find out about our urgent needs.

Our Amazon wish list is also updated regularly to reflect our most needed items.

Gift cards are another great way to support Casa families and they don’t take up room at your office! Hold a gift card drive for grocery stores, Target, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowe’s or gas cards.

What items are you unable to accept?

Because of state licensing regulations and space limitations, we are unable to accept any used: clothing, toys, car seats, and household goods. We suggest you donate used items to Magnificat House (713) 524-7333, Memorial Assistance Ministries (713) 491-4331, or CCSC (713) 665-4000, all organizations that we collaborate with in serving the community.

Do you accept canned goods?

Yes! Pop-top canned food is ideal. All canned goods and other non-perishable items, including baby formula, must be unopened, unexpired, and not damaged. Due to City of Houston health code, we cannot accept expired food items.

What size clothing and shoes do you accept?

We accept new clothing, sizes preemie-5T for boys and girls. New shoes from infant size 1 to toddler size 13 can be accepted as well.

Can I host a toy drive for Casa de Esperanza?

Please contact us before hosting a toy drive, as we can accept only a limited number of toys. Email volunteer@casahope.org for more information.
